SCHEDULE FOR SFITIAN’S
1] Seminar for Topic Selection: 2nd August, 2017 for SE/TE/BE
2] Payment of Fees: Before 31st August, 2017
3] Project abstract submission: 11th September, 2017.
4] Screening result: 14th September, 2017.
5] Mentor allocation: 18th September, 2017.
6] Submission of reports:
- 1st report [January 21, 2018]
- 2nd report [February 1, 2018]
- 3rd report [February 18, 2018]
- Final Report [February 28, 2018]
7] Pre-submission of project [28th February, 2018]
Pragati Exhibition is set as 16th & 17th March, 2018.

2] The registration fee is ₹ 700 per team. (Non-refundable)
3] Students may register on the above link. The documents to be uploaded will be a jpeg image of the identity card of all participants
4] Total cash prizes are worth ₹ 30,000**.

Each team will have a UID. This UID will be given on payment of registration fees.
1] A team can have minimum 2 and maximum 4 members.
2] Inter stream members are allowed but they must belong to the same year.
The type of the project will be examined by a jury of selected members and then be categorized into either Hardware or Software.
Parameters of judgment will be decided by the panel.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION (For SFITIAN’S)
An abstract of the project will have to be uploaded by the participants over the link provided on 11th September, 2017.

-Which problem will this project solve? -Facts, research or solutions present
3) Approach 4) Solution
-How will you go about the project? -What is end product?
-What all procedures are required? -Imaginary prototype on paper?

- Mention References used for the project in the abstract.
- Abstract to be submitted on 30th September, 2017.
- Submitted abstracts will be monitored on 13th September, 2017 and required changes in the Project Plan will be informed as per the result. The screening will be done by a panel of 6 jury members. The jury consists of the faculty from all departments and industrial experts.
MENTOR ASSIGNMENT (For SFITIAN’S)
1] Each team will be assigned a mentor who will guide them throughout Pragati.
2] The mentor will be a faculty member or a student who is well versed with the concepts required for building up that particular project.
3] The percentage completion of the project will be decided by the mentors regularly.
4] Each group will be assigned a mentor on 18th September, 2017.
PROJECT REPORTS (For SFITIAN’S)
1] Project reports will have to be uploaded regularly over the drive.
2] Participants have to submit 4 project reports regarding the work completed.
3] The final report should contain all the details and the complete procedure used for the project
4] Format will be provided to the participants by their mentors.
SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
1] All participants and non-participants can attend the seminars and the workshops conducted.
2] These seminars will guide the participants and will benefit them.
3] These seminars will be in accordance with the requirement and the need of participants.
4] The date will be announced at least 2 days prior.
